The Centre aims to improve the communication between elderly individuals to reduce their sense of loneliness and provides them with a comfortable place for recreational activities. It strives to help them to explore their potentials through the activities it organized for them.

Contents and Area:
Of the variety of activities, ranging from recreational, sports to educational, emphasis is placed on group activities (e.g. dancing, drama and handicrafts) as it fosters interaction between the elderly and develops a sense of togetherness and mutual support amongst them. Volunteer services targeted to the seniors began in 1985. The Centre is improving the task content for volunteer teams and the Elderly Visit Program to benefit a wider population of elderly people.
