D. Ana Sofia Monjardino Nursery of General Union of Neighbourhood Associations of Macao was opened on 13 December 1999. It is operated on a government site, managed by Montepio Geral de Macau, and financed by IAS. From 18 August 2011, UGAMM has been undertaking the services of the centre.
Objectives:
The centre aims to cherish and develop each child’s uniqueness through diversified activities, offer them a happy environment, enable them to achieve all-round development and physical and mental health, and prepare them for the future. It pays close attention to their health and nutritional conditions, and assigns nursing personnel to offer proper care and keep in touch with parents.
Contents and Area:
They are divided into different age classes, learning language, stories, rhythms & body movements, drawing and handcrafting, etc., and are offered lunch, fruits and afternoon refreshments.
