The “Little Seagull” Nursery under the General Union of Neighborhood Associations of Macao was founded on 28 July, 1998, in a place provided by the Macao SAR Government. It is managed by the General Union of Neighborhood Associations of Macao and subsidized by the Social Welfare Bureau.
Targets:
Help dual-career families to look after their young children by providing them with a safe and healthy environment conducive to their wholesome well-being, development of various potentials and fostering good life habits in them.
Contents and Area:
Full-day class service is provided. Presently, there are 77 infant children aged 3 months to 3 years under its care. They are divided into 4 age-based full-day classes to learn about various types of intelligences such as Mathematical logic , interpersonal, body kinesthetic, music, natural observation, and personal introspection. Lunch with fruit and afternoon refreshments are served.
The 627m2 nursery has a baby room, 3 activity rooms, an auxiliary room and an open terrace.
