DescriptionBackground:
Little Seagull Nursery of General Union of Neighbourhood Associations of Macao was established in 2022, location provided by MSAR Government, administered by General Union of Neighbourhood Associations of Macao, and regularly subsidized by Social Welfare Bureau of MSAR Government. The nursery has a capacity of 130 infants and toddlers aged between three months and three years old, divided into classes according to age. The nursery has an area of about 906 square meters and has five activity rooms.

Objectives:
Provides high-quality nurturing and care services for children in Macao, promote the comprehensive development of children's physical and mental health, and assist families to meet their child-rearing needs; care about children's learning and growth and development needs, so as to cultivate children's physical and mental health.

Targets:
- to cultivate children’s good living habits, enhance their independent abilities;
- in line with the principles of children's physical and mental development, provide multiple intelligence cultivation activities and guide children to try different activities ;
- to inspire children’s potential through games, rhymes, stories, parent-child and outdoor activities, etc;
- to cultivate children's self-care ability and basic etiquette in daily activities, and develop good habits and moral character;

Contents and Areas:
Cultivation:
To inspire children’s potential through games, rhymes, stories, parent-child and outdoor activities, also cultivate children's self-care ability and basic etiquette in daily activities, and develop good habits and moral character.
Conservation:
To take appropriate care in response to the needs of young children to ensure that the environment for children's activities is clean and safe so that they can grow up physically and mentally.

Health Care:
To measure children’s body temperatures every time before entering into the nursery, regularly measure their heights and weights, observe their physical development.

Meals:
To provide fresh, hygienic and nutritious lunch, soup, fruit and afternoon tea every day to ensure balanced meals for children.
